Alone Together: Connecting in the City

September 18 - 23, 2012

The inaugural Simon Fraser University (SFU) Public Square Community Summit will explore civic disconnection and consider existing and innovative ways to strengthen engagement across community and cultural divides.  During the programme, participants will consider the views of citizens, artists, librarians, businesses, film makers, and mayors in the region, to learn how youth would create a more connected city, and to celebrate the extra-ordinary people who work to make our lives better by bringing neighbourhoods and communities together.
