Space Security Conference 2012: Laying the Groundwork for Progress

The most recent in the series of space security conferences organized by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), Space Security 2012: Laying the Groundwork for Progress, was held on March 29-30, 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland, with the objective to discuss practical steps towards a coherent new regime for enhancing the sustainability and security of space. 

The event was funded by the governments of Canada, People's Republic of China, Russian Federation, and the United States of America, Secure World Foundation and The Simons Foundation.
