Results of the 2015-2016 Graduate Research Awards for Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-Proliferation
The Simons Foundation and the International Security Research and Outreach Programme (ISROP) of Global Affairs Canada (GAC) (formerly Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada) are pleased to announce the winners of the 2015-2016 Graduate Research Awards for Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-Proliferation competition:
- Kieran Alkerton – Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto
- Daniel Golston – Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge
- Sacha Lavoie-Guilini – Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Ottawa
- Jenny Yang – Darwin College, University of Cambridge
The successful candidates each received a cash award of Cdn$5,000.00 and presented their papers at the 2015-2016 Graduate Research Awards Seminar held at Global Affairs Canada Headquarters in Ottawa on February 26, 2016.

The Graduate Research Awards for Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-Proliferation are offered by The Simons Foundation and the International Security Research and Outreach Programme (ISROP) of Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The primary objective of the awards is to enhance Canadian graduate-level scholarship on disarmament, arms control and non-proliferation issues.
